Every week, the team at Rolling Stone UK will run down some of the best new releases that have been added to streaming services.

This week, we’ve highlighted records by Beabadoobee, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, J Balvin and Twin Atlantic.

Beabadoobee – This Is How Tomorrow Moves

“I guess it’s about becoming a woman,” Beabadoobee says of her third album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves. On the record, the Dirty Hit signing navigates a “new understanding of where I’m at” and presents a more rounded and mature worldview, mixing the endearingly excitable storytelling that defined her first two albums with a greater perspective, all filtered through ’90s indebted rock songs that are as catchy and delectable as ever.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard – Flight b741

On their 26th(!) album, restless and constantly innovative Aussie weirdos King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard take a break from the concept albums that have defined their post-pandemic work and bring things back to basics. After synth-pop experiments (The Silver Cord) and self-referential double albums (K.G. and L.W.), Flight b741 sees the band simply thrash it out in a room together.

After becoming one of the biggest stars on the planet across his first six albums and countless chart-bothering features, J Balvin hands the keys to the next generation on Rayo. The new album features a host of young, fresh talent including Dei V, Quevedo, and Omar Courtz alongside reggaeton legends, showing that the superstar still has his finger firmly on the pulse.
