Timothée Chalamet arrives on Lime bike at London premiere of ‘A Complete Unknown’
Timmy goes electric...

Timothée Chalamet eschewed fancy cars and VIP chauffeurs last night to arrive at the UK premiere of the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown on a Lime bike.
The actor, who has been praised for his portrayal of the music icon in the movie, pedalled onto the red carpet at BFI Southbank, before using his mobile phone to end his ride directly in front of photographers at the event.
The e-bike was complete with scuffs and scratches from numerous rides through the capital and is an appropriate choice of transport for Chalamet, given that the film hones in on the moment when Dylan faced massive backlash by playing an electric guitar for the first time at 1965’s Newport Folk Festival.
29-year-old Chalamet, who wore a multi-coloured patterned shirt and a black suit for the occasion, was joined by Monica Barbaro, who plays folk icon Joan Baez in the film, and Edward Norton, who plays singer Pete Seeger, one of Dylan’s earliest supporters.
In a four star review of A Complete Unknown, Rolling Stone UK’s Will Richards wrote: “It’s a story well-worn and universally known among ardent music fans, making it ripe for picking apart. While the story told and songs sung are indeed Dylan’s, Chamalet’s commitment to training his voice and learning the guitar so intently takes his performance beyond impersonation and towards something far more unique.”
