SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia: Ultra-exclusive festival returns to Formentera

The Balearic island of Formentera is set to host the SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia festival once again, from 4 to 6 October.

SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia, with only 350 tickets on sale, aims to provide guests with an opportunity to explore and rediscover Formentera through a variety of activities and guided walks.

This year’s event marks a significant milestone, as it has recently been awarded the TRUE Zero Waste Platinum certification, making it the only festival in the world to achieve this prestigious status.

SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia offers a truly distinctive experience in the festival space, combining music, nature, gastronomy, and beer culture with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

In keeping with tradition, the festival’s programme will remain a closely guarded secret until the start of the event on 4 October. Performances and activities will be scattered across various locations on the island, adding an element of surprise and adventure for attendees.

The line-up is expected to feature a mix of emerging international talents alongside more established artists who are rarely seen on the Spanish festival circuit.
