Faris Zahid is more than just a rising name in the music scene—Faris is the embodiment of cross-cultural artistry. Raised between the stunning landscapes of Geneva and Cannes, Faris’s music is a reflection of his global upbringing and deep emotional connection to the world around him. His self-taught piano skills and later formal training are a testament to his dedication, but the real spark came when his mother opened a recording studio in Cannes. It was there that Faris found his first collaborator, an engineer who helped him discover the true potential of his sound.
A Collaborative Debut Sparks A Solo Endeavor
In September 2024, Faris officially made his debut, appearing on GXTP’s track “Couldn’t Keep The Faith,” alongside the heavyweight talents of Poo Bear (Justin Bieber, Usher, J Balvin) and Sasha Sirota (Yelawolf, Ty Dolla $ign, Zac Brown Band). The experience was transformative, pushing him to explore new creative realms and expand his musical horizons. The collaboration with GXTP led to the creation of his debut solo record, “Outdated Love” which had released in November.
Redefining How We Feel It
Now slated to release a remix of “Outdated Love” with, Isaac Palmer, a break-out new DJ. This is a project that speaks to Faris’s introspective approach to relationships, love, and the vulnerability of heartbreak. With a unique process that starts with creating a melody and beat before writing lyrics, Faris taps into the emotional core of his music by letting the sound guide him. His ability to weave personal storytelling with modern pop soundscapes sets him apart as an artist to watch in 2025. Faris Zahid isn’t just singing about love—he’s redefining how we feel it.
