Disney Plus is breaking new ground in entertainment with its first-ever magic special, starring Brazilian sensation Henry & Klauss. The duo, who have captivated over 2.5 million spectators worldwide, will showcase their spectacular illusions in “Masters of Magic,” set to premiere on the streaming platform in March 2025.
Breaking Records and Boundaries
The filming of “Masters of Magic” is yet another historic moment in Latin American entertainment. Over 8,000 spectators filled Rio de Janeiro’s Farmasi Arena to witness the largest illusion show ever produced in the region. The spectacular production featured state-of-the-art visual effects, massive staging, and riveting performances that blur the line between reality and illusion.
Henry & Klauss have already etched their names in magic history with two world records. In 2019, they achieved an extraordinary feat by levitating for four hours on São Paulo’s Avenida Paulista. They followed this achievement in 2023 by setting the record for the fastest escape from a straitjacket in Monza, Italy.
A New Era of Magic Entertainment
The Disney+ special is the hallmark of changing consumer tastes, especially with how magic itself is presented to modern audiences. Henry & Klauss combine classic illusion techniques with the latest technology, creating performances that feature interactive LEDs, holograms, and digital elements that capture the hearts of contemporary viewers.
“Magic, in its purest form, has introduced the world to legendary names like Harry Houdini and Uri Geller. We want to present magic in a way that speaks to today’s audience without losing sight of its rich traditions,” Henry & Klauss shared during the special’s announcement.
Global Recognition and Future Prospects
The duo’s meteoric rise in the magic world recently culminated in their receiving the prestigious “Les Mandrake d’Or,” often referred to as the magic industry’s highest honor. This recognition, awarded at the iconic Casino de Paris, establishes them among an elite group of performers including David Copperfield and the Ehrlich Brothers.
Furthermore, the duo’s partnership with Disney+ is also seen as a strategic move to bring high-caliber magic entertainment to a global streaming audience. With experts seeing no signs of stopping for the pair’s growth, Henry & Klauss are already expanding their reach beyond Latin America, with plans for North American and European tours in 2025.
As Henry & Klauss prepare for their next chapter, they remain focused on their mission of making magic accessible, thrilling, and unforgettable for everyone who watches. With “Masters of Magic,” the two are not simply creating illusions, but history itself.
