Dave and designer Clint419 have been announced as managers for the inaugural season of Baller League UK.
The Mercury Prize-winning rapper and streetwear pioneer Clint will be calling the shots for a team of all-star players, taking to the touchline alongside the likes of Gary Lineker, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer when the league kicks off later this month.
The Baller League first kicked off in Germany and is a six-a-side competition that brings together venerable football legends alongside social media personalities for a new challenge.
Dave will take charge of his own team, Santan FC, while Clint 419 will manage FC Rules the World.
Trials have been taking place in London and Manchester, with the league allowing entries from a mixture of retired pros, futsal players and freee agents.
UK players will be unveiled when the draft night takes place on Monday, March 10 on YouTube, before the first game night on March 24. Matches will then run every Monday night until May.
Speaking about the concept, Baller League CEO, Felix Starck said: “Baller League is a brand new way to consume football.
“We’re redefining how the game is played by bringing an exhilarating and authentic approach to football, and one that will appeal to current fans along with future generations.
“Baller League is all about forward-thinking, aggressive, hyper-exciting football. We’re about creating a version of the game that’s impossible to ignore – thrilling, bold and packed with excitement.”
